I may have spoke too soon, when I recommended that everyone go out and download Firefox. While a consummate staple in my interweb driven life thus far I have discovered it's successor: ENTER GOOGLE CHROME.
This is the greatest browser experience that I have ever had and it is only in a very early beta. Here are just a few of the reasons why this browser rocks my socks off:
1. The user interface is EXACTLY what i have tried to mold Firefox into, it is completely minimalist and allows for the MOST possible space for browsing without limiting functionality. The tabs at the top are perfect and the one line address bar and lack of status bar really opens up the area, while still providing the functionality of pop-up status indicators.
2. It is noticeably faster than any browser that I have used thus far, especially for javaScript driven sites, like my online banking web site.
Those are really the most important things and would sway me from one browser to another, but then there are more subtleties that the browser brings to the market that I won't go into, you will just have to try it out. And it is small as all get out as well.
Perhaps most importantly it renders VTES in the US perfectly. So go get some. Back to your regularly scheduled program...
